The Annual Joel A. Mask Golf Classic
The 18th Annual Joel A. Mask Golf Classic takes place Friday, September 16, 2011, at the Woodland Forrest Country Club in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Here are the details for this year’s event:
11:00 a.m. Registration , team photo, range balls, etc.
Box Lunch – Ham, turkey, or roast beef with all the fixings ($10 per person)
12:45 p.m. Rules Briefing & Move to your assigned hole
1:00 p.m. Shotgun Start
4:30 p.m. Buffet Dinner – Included in your registration

The Shootout For Cash
Par Three Closest to the Hole Awards
Net & Gross winning team trophies
$100 per player
Registration fee includes dinner, golf balls, tees, cart and greens fee, 2 team mulligans and shootout

One of AAF-Tuscaloosa’s favorite annual events is the Joel A. Mask Golf Classic and fundraiser. Individuals and teams compete for fabulous prizes, and a good time is had by all. Here are some additional details:
- Usually held late April or early May each year (date announced January/February)
- Usually held at Woodland Forest Golf Course
- Scramble format…4/person teams
- 25 team limit
- Food provided – usually Bar-B-Q!
- Beverages provided by Pepsi and Miller
- Registration will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Shotgun start at 1:00 pm SHARP
- Prizes for closest to the pin on all par threes
- Team trophies for first, second and third in the GROSS and NET divisions
- Raffle prize, team photos and the SHOOT-OUT for the grand prize
- Entry fee was $400.00 per Team in 2009, including carts, greens fee, etc.
