The Alabama Film Office

The Alabama Film Office is a resource for both in-state and out-of-state filmmakers, providing them with location information and photographic files. Their mission is to increase economic opportunities in Alabama through the film and related media industries. This includes recommending policies and legislation, implementing and participating in programs and projects, and actively representing Alabama’s natural assets and film industry infrastructure.

The location database maintained by the Alabama Film Office contains over 1,000 locales and is always looking for more submissions from property owners.
