Neal Fondren is Senior Vice President for Digital Strategies and Insights at Intermark Group in Birmingham. On Thursday, March 12, Neal is going to give us an agency’s view of the current media landscape and the evolving trends of the future. About the speaker…
In 2007, Neal returned to his native Birmingham after a 27-year absence. He has been a pioneer in both cable television and the digital space. He served as the chief digital media officer for The E.W. Scripps Company and Media General, Inc. During that time websites were developed for media properties such as HGTV.com, peanuts.com, dilbert.com and foodnetwork.com. His career spans more than 20 years in digital media along with 16 years in cable television.
Today, Neal resides in Birmingham with his wife Christy. His three children, as he likes to say “Are scattered up and down I-85.” He also has a granddaughter in Richmond, Virginia. When he’s not working, he’s usually playing golf, fishing or playing his guitar on the back porch.
